X Star

This bull is a knock-out! Look at the hip, forearm and bone he carries. Not to mention excellent conformation & color with a good disposition.  A large number of his offspring are brindle too. He sires excellent bulls and heifers. His favorite heifer by him measures 63" T2T @ 25 months. He is the sire of Star's Southern Eloquence who sold for $9,500, sire of XCaliber Star (bull) who measured 70" on his second birthday, sire of Capricious Star who sold for $22,000, sire of Rev Up The Stars (bull) that measured 69 ¾" T2T on his 2nd birthday, and the sire of Commotion Of Stars a heifer which sold for $19,000.

Curtis Ohlendorf is the  new owner of X Star. He is a fifth generation Texas farmer/rancher and is the one most responsible for making Rocking O Longhorns what it is today. He wrote on his website  Description of X Star: X Star is a bull we targeted to bring in to add more brindle color to our herd. His offspring have done well in the sale ring, with daughters selling for $17,000, $19,000, and $22,000. After owning him a few weeks, there are a number of things we really like about X Star: 1) He is a beautiful brindle, 2) He is thick bodied and big boned, 3) He has a nice thickness to his horns, all the way to the tips, 4) He is very calm, and 5) He has a large scrotal circumference and had a 96% success rate on sperm as a 9 year old bull, We are looking forward to getting some calves by him starting in the fall of 2019.
