Diepenhoek Kevin Costner

Diepenhoek Kevin Costner is sired bij Shadowizm. His dam is Ungunna. Kevin Costner himself is white with many small spots on his whole body. We called this Speckled. He also has a few larger red spots where the brindle pattern has evolved. Kevin Costner is a strong bull with huge horns. His horn base also is large in size. He is very gentle. He is the father of a number of calves born at Diepenhoek Texas Longhorns. These calves gives us much confidence that we will use him again. Kevin Costner is mostly white, but his calves are very different in color. This confirms again that color breeding in Texas Longhorns is very difficult. The key features such as a balanced frame, large horns and great horn circumference, brindle and roan are deeply rooted in him. We are very pleased with this bull ! He is at the moment the bull with the largest horns in Europe. 164 cm , 64.5 inches T2T at 32 months old.
