Diepenhoek Legendary Randro

Legendary Randro is a beautiful strong long calf that stands high on her legs. Like her dam and granddam, she has black stripes on her head and is brindle. You can see that her red is not even red, especially on her neck and legs. This means that she is a tricolor. We'll have to wait and see how her skin will change. She may look a lot like her mother. She is the third generation of females born from our own animals at Diepenhoek Texas Longhorns. Granddam  Legendary Victory, also the dam of Diepenhoek Kirk Douglas, had somewhat traditional horns. Straight from the head and then angled up. Actually still how we know the horns of the longhorns in the cowboy movies. She was bought by us as an embryo from the top breeding company Dickinson Cattle in America. Dam Legendary Ranger's horns are significantly longer and somewhat flatter. This is partly due to her sire  Dirk's Ranger Grande. Fortunately, she has kept the beautiful twist, the twisting of the horns. We try to maintain this characteristic for our herd. Dirk's Ranger Grande was for a long time the bull with the longest horns in Europe. His grandsire  Rio Grande was world champion. Very curious what the horns of Legendary Randro will do.

Her sire  is Dirk's Alejandro. He has brought new blood to our ranch. This bull has its own qualities. He has an exceptionally good pedigree with, among others, his granddam Sequential Stars who was world champion. His build is fine, he has large horns that point nicely upwards, and special colors in his coat.
